Cardboard Heart Stamp (great way to recycle!)

  • You will need:
    • Toilet paper or paper towel rolls
    • Red tempera paint
    • Heavyweight paper to stamp on
  • If using a paper towel roll, cut it in half to make the stamp easier for small kids to handle
  • Press the roll to make it flat, and make 2 firm creases
  • Invert one of the 2 creases and crease it again to form the indentation at the top of the heart stamp
  • Fill a plate with a shallow amount of paint
  • Place end of tube in the paint and print away!
  • As the tube will lose shape the more it’s used, you can re-crease the roll, flip it over and use the other side, or make another roll!
